Are seamless gutters completely leak proof?

No gutter is guaranteed never to leak. Seamless construction reduces joints, but corners, outlets, end caps, damage, debris, and poor pitch can still create leaks.

How is gutter size selected?

Roof area, slope, valleys, rainfall intensity, appearance, and downspout capacity all matter. Larger is not automatically better if outlet and discharge planning are poor.
